Balochistan CM Orders Verification of Contract Teachers’ Degrees, Directs FIRs Against Fake Degree Holders

**Quetta:** Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has instructed the Chief Minister Inspection Team to immediately verify the educational degrees of teachers recently hired on a contract basis. He directed that FIRs be registered against anyone found holding fake degrees, with the process to begin in Naseerabad and Dera Bugti.

Speaking at a provincial cabinet meeting, CM Bugti emphasized the importance of ensuring transparency and merit in the recruitment of teaching staff. The cabinet also approved incorporating the national curriculum into the provincial syllabus from the academic year 2026-27.

Additionally, under the Chief Minister Academic Excellence Program, the cabinet decided to hire mathematics, science, and English teachers on an ad-hoc basis for middle, high, and higher secondary schools to strengthen education quality across the province.
