Modi’s Strategy Has Failed, Global Powers Acknowledge Pakistan’s Stance: Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar

Islamabad:Former caretaker Prime Minister and Senator **Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar** stated that **India’s strategic narrative has failed**, and the **United States is now fully aware of the ground realities** in South Asia. In a recent interview, Kakar emphasized Pakistan’s firm and proactive diplomatic and defense positioning, which has helped strengthen its image on the global stage.

Speaking on the tragic **terrorist incident in Khuzdar**, Kakar expressed deep sorrow, saying the pain is beyond words. He stressed that **the time has come for a decisive crackdown against terrorists**, particularly in **Balochistan**, where a full-scale operation is essential to eradicate militancy.

Kakar remarked that **terrorism in Balochistan is not new**, and urged the **Afghan leadership** to recognize that terrorist sanctuaries on Afghan soil pose a direct threat to Pakistan’s security. He called for **greater cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan**, emphasizing that **shared regional interests demand joint counterterrorism efforts**.

On **Pakistan-India relations**, Kakar reiterated that **Pakistan has never begged for ceasefire**. He criticized **Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flawed strategic miscalculations**, stating that they have only served to **reinforce Pakistan’s clear and credible defense stance** in the eyes of the international community.

Praising **Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif** for honoring **Field Marshal Asim Munir**, Kakar called it a commendable decision that reflects the government’s alignment with national security interests.

He also hinted at **high-level discussions between U.S. and Pakistani military leadership**, although he stated he has no formal confirmation. However, Kakar pointed to **statements by U.S. senators** and **former President Donald Trump’s interview on Fox News**, which, according to him, reflect **America’s evolving understanding of Pakistan’s strategic and security realities**.

Kakar concluded by asserting that **Modi’s failure to assert India’s dominance** and **Pakistan’s bold responses** have **strengthened its diplomatic position** globally. “The world is now taking Pakistan’s stance seriously,” he said, adding that **India’s internal dissent and lack of recognition for Modi’s policies further prove his strategic failure**.
