Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna Involved in Car Accident, Both Safe
**Islamabad:** Bollywood stars **Akshay Kumar** and his wife **Twinkle Khanna** were involved in a car accident while returning to their Mumbai home from the airport on **Monday evening** after arriving from abroad.
According to Indian media, their vehicle and accompanying security convoy were hit when a **high-speed Mercedes collided with an auto-rickshaw**, causing the out-of-control rickshaw to first crash into the security vehicle and then strike Akshay Kumar’s car.
The rickshaw driver and passenger were trapped under the vehicle but were safely rescued by Akshay Kumar and his staff.
The couple had been traveling abroad to celebrate their **25th wedding anniversary**, and fortunately, neither Akshay Kumar nor Twinkle Khanna were injured in the incident.
