Unprovoked Firing from Afghan Side Repulsed by Pakistan Army in Qila Saifullah

**Qila Saifullah:** Pakistani security forces have successfully repelled unprovoked firing from the Afghan side in the border sector of Qila Saifullah, thwarting the aggression with a swift and effective response.

According to security sources, Afghan forces opened fire on Pakistani border check posts, prompting Pakistan’s security forces to immediately assess the situation and take defensive measures. The Pakistan Army responded decisively, ensuring the protection of the country’s border posts and personnel.

Sources said that the army used modern surveillance systems, particularly quadcopter drones, to closely monitor the border area. After identifying potential threats, they were neutralized in an effective manner. The operation was carried out as part of Pakistan’s policy to safeguard its border sovereignty and prevent any attempts to undermine the border fencing project.

Security officials noted that the construction of the border fence has been targeted on multiple occasions in the past, but Pakistani forces have consistently foiled such attempts through timely and effective action.

So far, no official confirmation of casualties has been issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Security sources emphasized that any violation of the border, infiltration attempt, or facilitation of terrorist elements will not be tolerated, and any such act in the future will be met with a firm, measured, and effective response.

Pakistani security forces remain fully alert and resolute in defending the country’s borders and national sovereignty.
