Field Marshal Asim Munir Is a Blessing from Allah, an Extremely Honest Man: Governor Punjab

**Islamabad:** Punjab Governor **Sardar Saleem Khan** has said that **Field Marshal Asim Munir is a blessing from Allah** and described him as an extremely honest and sincere individual.

Addressing a ceremony in **London**, the governor said that Field Marshal Asim Munir has a strong desire to serve the country and work for its betterment. He added that **all three chiefs of the armed forces also deserve congratulations** for their services to the nation.

Sardar Saleem Khan stated that for the first time after winning a war, **the entire world is listening to Pakistan’s stance**. He remarked that in the past, Pakistan’s president and prime minister had to seek opportunities to engage with US leadership, but now, **the US president himself is inviting Pakistani leadership**, which he termed a historic development.

He emphasized that **Pakistan does not seek war**, adding that **India has repeatedly imposed conflicts on Pakistan**.

The Punjab governor also said that **President Asif Ali Zardari had offered PTI to form a government**, but after PTI’s refusal, the Pakistan Peoples Party had no option but to form an alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

He further remarked that the **Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received respect in Punjab and Sindh but failed to uphold it**, criticizing his political conduct.

The governor’s remarks have drawn attention amid ongoing political and regional developments, highlighting Pakistan’s evolving diplomatic standing and internal political dynamics.
