Dense Fog Paralyzes Motorways, Several Sections Closed Across the Country

**Islamabad:** Severe fog has disrupted traffic across various parts of the country, forcing the closure of major motorways and causing significant inconvenience to commuters.
According to the Motorway Police, the decision to close multiple motorway sections was taken as a safety measure due to extremely low visibility.
The Motorway Police stated that the M-1 motorway from Peshawar to Rashakai has been closed due to dense fog. Similarly, the M-2 motorway is closed to traffic from Thokar Niaz Baig to Chakri Interchange.
The M-3 motorway from Faizpur to Jaranwala has also been shut down, while traffic on the M-4 motorway from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad has been suspended after the area was engulfed in thick fog.
In addition, the M-11 motorway from Lahore to Sambrial has been closed, and the M-14 motorway from Daud Khel to Isa Khel is also not available for traffic.
The Motorway Police have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel, use fog lights while driving, and refrain from overspeeding to prevent accidents.
