75 Quetta Feeders Exempted from Load Shedding as K-Electric Announces New Power Supply Schedule for Balochistan

Quetta: According to K-Electric officials, 75 feeders in Quetta have been declared load-shedding-free. Electricity supply on all feeders connected to the 132KV Quetta City Grid Station and 132KV Mariabad Grid Station will continue uninterrupted. Meanwhile, 64 other feeders across the city will experience scheduled load shedding of 4 to 6 hours daily.

K-Electric also stated that 78 feeders in other parts of Balochistan are exempt from load shedding, including 34 feeders in the Makran region and all feeders connected to four grid stations in Gwadar.

Furthermore, all district and tehsil headquarters across the province receive up to 16 hours of electricity daily at varying schedules. Any planned power shutdowns for development or maintenance work are communicated in advance to consumers via social media and other media channels.
