BAP Denies Merger Rumors with PML-N, Terms Reports Baseless

Quetta: Manzoor Ahmad Khan Kakar, Central Secretary General of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), has strongly rejected reports suggesting that the party is being merged into the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N), calling such claims “baseless and fabricated.”

In a statement, Senator Kakar said that BAP is a strong national-level political party and has no intention of merging with any other political group. He emphasized that the party maintains significant representation in the National Assembly, Senate, and the Balochistan Assembly.

He further stated that BAP remains committed to its political identity, ideology, and mission of public service, adding that no compromise would be made on these principles.

Kakar described the merger rumors as misleading propaganda with no connection to reality, reaffirming that the party continues to play an active role in safeguarding the rights of the people of Balochistan and contributing to the country’s development and stability.
