Police Clash with Snatchers in Shalkot; One Suspect Killed, Head Constable Miraculously Survives
Shalkot: A fierce gunfight erupted between police and snatchers near Sana Pump in Shalkot, resulting in the death of one suspect while two others managed to escape.
According to SSP Operations Dostain Dashti, the snatchers opened fire on the police team, prompting a retaliatory response in which one suspect was killed. A case has been registered, and investigations are underway.
During the encounter, Head Constable Dil Murad was injured by a gunshot to his leg. However, he survived miraculously after his bulletproof jacket absorbed two bullets.
SSP Operations Dostain Dashti visited Constable Dil Murad in the hospital, offering encouragement and prayers for his speedy recovery. He also instructed the administration to ensure better medical facilities for police personnel and praised the bravery and sacrifices of law enforcement officers as a matter of pride.
