Tosha Khana 2 Case: PTI Leaders Spark New Controversy Over Bulgarian Gift Allegedly Taken from Bushra Bibi

Islamabad: A recent conversation between former PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat and current PTI leader Mishal Yousafzai has once again brought the Tosha Khana 2 case into the spotlight, raising questions over the whereabouts of a valuable Bulgarian gift allegedly linked to Bushra Bibi.

During a discussion on an ARY News program, both leaders shared their perspectives on different aspects of the case. However, the identity of the person who ultimately took possession of the gift remained undisclosed.

Sher Afzal Marwat stated that, to his knowledge, the valuable Bulgarian set was not sent abroad but was presented as a gift by the Saudi ambassador at Bani Gala. He added that former Prime Minister Imran Khan could have chosen not to declare the gift, keeping it private, but after consultation during the trial, it was decided that the gift would be returned.

Marwat claimed that the set was no longer with Bushra Bibi afterward and that another individual had taken it, though he refrained from naming the person on air.

Mishal Yousafzai emphasized that since the matter is sub judice and the appeal is pending in the Islamabad High Court, she could not comment on the details. She did confirm, however, that the valuable gift is currently not with Bushra Bibi.

Yousafzai also stated that many allegations linked to Bushra Bibi are unfounded and that her name has been unnecessarily dragged into the controversy.

During the conversation, Marwat alleged that attempts to tarnish Bushra Bibi’s reputation were carried out by certain factions within PTI and claimed that the real individual responsible for taking the gift was a woman who allegedly seized it from Bushra Bibi. He said Bushra Bibi had shown restraint by not naming the woman, even though Marwat believed she should have been brought to court.

When asked if the woman was affiliated with PTI, Marwat replied that he could not confirm her connections. He hinted that the matter might be linked more closely to Imran Khan’s inner family circle, though Mishal Yousafzai neither confirmed nor directly denied this claim.

Yousafzai stressed that all facts will be presented in court and legal arguments will be made during the appeal hearing, urging the media to refrain from speculation.
