Engineer Killed, Driver Injured in Traffic Accident Near Mach, Bolan
Bolan – A tragic traffic accident near Mach in Bolan district claimed the life of an engineer from the Local Government Department Dera Allah Yar, while his driver sustained serious injuries.
According to Mach City Police, an Alto car traveling from Quetta to Dera Allah Yar lost control due to overspeeding at Jilabi Mor on the national highway and plunged into a roadside drain. As a result of the accident, Engineer Rehmatullah, son of Ghulam Nabi Jhakarani, a resident of Dera Allah Yar, died on the spot.
The driver of the vehicle, Liaqat Ali, son of Abdul Wahab Gola, also a resident of Dera Allah Yar, was seriously injured. Upon receiving information about the incident, Mach Police rushed to the site and shifted both the deceased and the injured to Civil Hospital Mach.
The injured driver was provided immediate medical treatment, while the body of Engineer Rehmatullah was handed over to his family after completion of legal formalities and sent to his native area.
