Youth Enthusiasm Lights Up Quetta Streets as Marathon Held on Airport Road

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):**
A spectacular Quetta Marathon was organized under the supervision of the Balochistan Sports Department to promote healthy activities, revive the culture of sports, and encourage positive social behavior among the youth. The race officially began at Baiko Petrol Pump on Airport Road, Quetta.

The marathon was inaugurated by Balochistan Sports and Youth Affairs Advisor Meena Majid Baloch, while Secretary Sports Balochistan, Dara Baloch, actively participated in the race to encourage the young participants. The event saw enthusiastic participation from youth, students, athletes, sports personalities, and individuals from various walks of life.

In her address, Advisor Meena Majid Baloch said the provincial government is prioritizing sports to make the youth healthy, active, and skilled. She emphasized that sports not only promote physical fitness but also enhance mental development, discipline, and positive thinking, playing a key role in keeping youth away from negative activities.

She highlighted the immense potential of Balochistan’s youth and said the government is taking practical steps to improve sports infrastructure, organize competitions, and provide modern facilities to help young talent flourish. She added that events like the Quetta Marathon not only boost the confidence of youth but also highlight the province’s positive image.

Meena Majid Baloch further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, reforms, new projects, and opportunities are being introduced in the sports sector to help Balochistan’s youth excel nationally and internationally.

Secretary Sports Balochistan, Dara Baloch, said the department is taking extensive measures to promote sports activities across the province and assured that similar events would continue in the future. He encouraged the youth to make sports a part of their daily lives.

The advisor also praised the performance of participants in the marathon and announced that more sports events would be organized in the province to provide youth with healthy competition and additional opportunities for positive engagement.
