People of Margha Zakriazai Are Not Alone; Arrests Will Not Deter the Struggle: Pakhtunkhwa NAP Backs Long March Participants

Quetta – A delegation comprising participants of the on-foot long march from Margha Zakriazai to Quetta met the leadership of the Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP) at the party’s central secretariat. The delegation held discussions with Central Senior Secretary Syed Abdul Qadir Agha Advocate, Provincial Secretary Faqir Khushhal Kasi, and other party leaders.
The delegation expressed gratitude to the party leadership for providing immediate legal and political assistance and ensuring the release of march participants following their arrest by police in Kuchlak. They highlighted serious issues faced by the people of the area and presented a list of demands, including the provision of a water supply scheme for Killi Haleem, upgradation of the girls’ middle school to high school level, a bus service for female students, 10 hours of electricity supply, and the establishment of a hospital with ambulance facilities.
Additional demands included the provision of a playground for the boys’ high school, establishment of a primary school in Killi Barkha, construction of roads, and the availability of tractor services for agricultural purposes.
Party leaders assured the delegation that Pakhtunkhwa NAP stands firmly with the people of Margha Zakriazai and that arrests and pressure tactics will not silence their voice. They reiterated the party’s commitment to raising public issues at every forum and continuing the struggle for the rights and development of marginalized and backward areas.
