Recent Terror Incidents in Balochistan Part of a Planned Strategy, Foreign Elements Involved: Jamal Raisani

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Member of the National Assembly Jamal Raisani has said that the recent wave of terrorism in Balochistan appears to be part of a coordinated plan, with clear signs of foreign involvement.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Raisani revealed that similar cases have surfaced in the past where women were blackmailed into carrying out suicide attacks. He warned that the pattern of these incidents indicates organized planning aimed at destabilizing the province.

Referencing recent findings from the location feature on social media platform X, he noted that multiple accounts operating under the name of Balochistan were actually being run from abroad and spreading propaganda against the province. “This clearly shows that external forces are trying to create unrest in Balochistan,” he said.

Raisani also questioned the credibility of certain organizations frequently mentioned in such contexts, stating that their role has always been “highly suspicious.” He emphasized that human rights cannot be selective, adding that genuine advocacy must oppose all forms of extremism and human rights violations.

Commenting on proscribed groups like the BLA and BLF, the PPP lawmaker said attempts to create a “soft image” for such outfits have been ongoing for years and remain deeply concerning. He stressed that defeating such negative activities and propaganda is essential for ensuring lasting peace in Balochistan and across the country.
