The chief minister stated that reaching a district cardiology center within 90 minutes will significantly improve chances of saving patients’ lives. She announced that cath labs in Bhakkar, Chakwal, Khanewal, Jhang, Mianwali, and Vehari will become operational soon.

Maryam Nawaz further said that in Phase II, cath labs will be established in Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Rajanpur, and Toba Tek Singh. These facilities will offer advanced procedures including angiography, angioplasty, and primary PCI.
