President and Prime Minister Laud Security Forces for Eliminating 11 Terrorists in KP Operations

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have praised Pakistan’s security forces for their successful operations against the Fitna al-Khawarij group in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which resulted in the elimination of 11 terrorists in North Waziristan and Kurram.
The Presidential Media Wing said that President Zardari commended the professionalism of the security and police personnel involved in the intelligence-based operations, emphasizing that Pakistan’s struggle against Fitna al-Khawarij will continue until the group is completely eradicated. He highlighted the security forces’ vital role in protecting the lives and property of citizens.
The Prime Minister’s Office stated that PM Shehbaz Sharif also lauded the officers and soldiers for their expertise, reiterating the government’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism. He said the Pakistan Armed Forces and police continue to confront anti-state elements day and night, and no enemy can dare challenge Pakistan while brave officers and personnel are on duty. He added that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with security forces in defending the country.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the timely operations against Fitna al-Khawarij, calling them exemplary and stating that the terrorists will find no place to hide in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that with the support of the nation, the complete elimination of the Khawarij network will be achieved.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also congratulated the security forces for conducting two successful operations and eliminating 11 terrorists. He stated that the ongoing “Azm-e-Istiqamat” operations aim to permanently eradicate terrorism, and the sacrifices of security personnel will always be remembered.
