Hyderabad Hospital Doctors Initially Refuse Treatment Due to ‘Bad Odor’; Patient Now Receiving Care, Says Edhi Center In-Charge

**Hyderabad** – A disturbing incident unfolded at Hyderabad’s Civil Hospital where doctors allegedly refused to treat an unidentified patient due to a foul odor, despite his critical condition. However, treatment has now begun after the patient was bathed and given clean clothes, according to the Edhi Center in-charge.
According to *ARY News*, an ambulance driver brought the abandoned patient to Civil Hospital with severe bleeding from his mouth. The driver informed doctors that the patient could be bathed and dressed, requesting immediate medical attention due to his deteriorating condition.
However, the doctors reportedly refused to admit him into the ward. Eyewitnesses stated that the patient remained in agony on the hospital’s floor near the entrance for nearly **four hours**, with no doctor checking on him.
Edhi Hyderabad in-charge **Meraj** later confirmed that the patient was admitted after **4 to 5 hours**. He said the Edhi staff bathed the patient and dressed him in clean clothes, after which the hospital staff agreed to begin treatment.
Reports indicate that the abandoned patient was brought from the jurisdiction of the **Hatri Police Station**.
