Pakistan Army Follows Zero-Tolerance Policy on National Security Threats: Field Marshal Asim Munir

Lahore:Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that Pakistan follows a zero-tolerance policy toward threats to national security, adding that the protection of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity remains the Pakistan Army’s foremost mission.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Lahore Garrison, where he was briefed on operational preparedness. He also reviewed training exercises conducted under the formation and emphasized the importance of preparedness for future warfare and the adoption of modern innovations.
The ISPR said the Field Marshal appreciated the sports and recreational facilities provided to troops, highlighting their role in maintaining physical fitness and morale. He also visited the High Care Centre at CMH Lahore, where he commended the medical staff and administration for their dedicated services.
While addressing officers at the Lahore Garrison, the Chief of Defence Forces reiterated that the Pakistan Army is fully committed to countering all types of challenges. He stressed that safeguarding sovereignty and territorial integrity is the army’s top priority.
Field Marshal Asim Munir said Pakistan’s armed forces remain steadfast in ensuring national security, internal stability, and territorial integrity, while promoting high standards, discipline, and selfless service to the nation. He further added that the Pakistan Army possesses the capability to align itself with modern warfare requirements, with soldiers’ physical fitness and morale remaining key priorities.
