Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Condemns Raids and Arrests, Accuses ‘Form-47 Government’ of Violating Employees’ Rights

*Quetta:* The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) has strongly condemned the alleged government crackdown against the Balochistan Grand Alliance, terming raids, arrests, and the use of state force against protesting employees as unconstitutional and undemocratic.

A delegation of the Balochistan Grand Alliance, including Provincial President of Paramedics Shifa Mengal, Senior Vice President Syed Amin Bashar, Dur Muhammad, Qaim Khan, Arbab Nasrullah, Rashid Zahri, and Sahib Jan Kakar, visited the central secretariat of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party. The delegation briefed PkMAP Central General Secretary Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Central Secretary Dr. Hamid Khan Achakzai, Provincial General Secretary Kabir Afghan, and provincial executive members Malik Umar Kakar and Soorat Khan Kakar about the government’s alleged crackdown, arrests, raids, and the alliance’s charter of demands.

The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party strongly denounced raids on the residences of Grand Alliance leaders, the arrest of dozens of activists, and what it described as violations of the sanctity of homes. The party also condemned raids conducted during duty hours at schools, colleges, hospitals, institutions, and government offices, calling such actions highly inappropriate and unacceptable.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal said that the “Form-47 imposed, non-democratic and unconstitutional government” in the province is not only curbing the political, democratic, and constitutional rights of the people but is also depriving government employees of their constitutionally guaranteed rights, creating widespread unrest among thousands of employees in the province.

PkMAP reiterated its full support for the legitimate, constitutional, and democratic demands of the Balochistan Grand Alliance and its protest movement. The party urged government employees and the general public, particularly in Balochistan, to stand with democratic forces in the struggle against undemocratic practices, terming this path as the best course for the country and its people.
