PkMAP Accuses Minister’s Brother of Extortion in Harnai Through “Form 47” Scheme

Harnai: The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) has leveled serious allegations of corruption and extortion in Harnai district, accusing the brother of a provincial minister — reportedly working as a driver — of collecting illegal payments from government employees through a fraudulent “Form 47” scheme.
According to a statement issued by the party, employees from multiple departments — including Levies, Buildings & Roads (B&R), Agriculture, Health, and Education — are being forced to surrender **half of their salaries** as “monthly extortion.” Those who refuse to pay are allegedly harassed or transferred under administrative pressure.
PkMAP further claimed that the **District Headquarters Hospital** has appointed a Grade-17 medical officer as MS, who is reportedly protecting dual job-holders and facilitating corruption within the health department.
The party also accused the **district administration** of harassing local residents under the pretext of identifying Afghan nationals, alleging that shopkeepers are being fined and extorted under false pretenses. It further claimed that a **private NGO** is facing political pressure from “Form 47 representatives” to distribute aid and rations only among selected voters and supporters.
PkMAP leaders strongly criticized the **year-long closure of the Harnai–Sanjiwi Road**, citing severe economic hardship, longer travel routes, and skyrocketing transport fares for local residents.
The party has demanded immediate action from the **Deputy Commissioner of Harnai** to investigate these allegations and resolve the growing administrative and social issues. Failing this, PkMAP warned that it will launch a **joint protest campaign** with other political parties, including a wheel-jam strike, market shutdown, and sit-in outside the DC office.
