Langoo and Kloi Tribal Feud Ends; Tribal Harmony Essential for Balochistan’s Development, Says Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari

*Quetta:* Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Central General Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan and Member of National Assembly, welcomed the resolution of the longstanding bloody feud between the Langoo and Kloi tribes. He praised the elders and members of both tribes for their sincerity and efforts in bringing the conflict to an end.
Speaking during a visit to Maulana Muhammad Tahir Tauhidi, former Information Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Quetta, Haidari emphasized that ending tribal disputes is a critical need of the time. He noted that the feud had claimed dozens of lives, causing irreplaceable losses to hundreds of families in Balochistan.
Haidari acknowledged the dedication and hard work of tribal elders and mediators, including Sardar Chingiz Sasoli, Mir Noor Ahmad Langoo, Mir Maqbool Ahmad Langoo, Mir Allah Bakhsh Rahija, and Maulana Mufti Abu Bakr, whose efforts were instrumental in resolving the conflict. He also commended the earlier contributions of Sardarzada Javed Jan Lehri and Mir Kabir Muhammad Shahi.
He stressed that tribal disputes serve no one’s interests and that Balochistan’s culture of patience and tolerance should be strengthened. All tribes should promote goodwill and brotherhood, fostering peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
Haidari urged Balochistan’s respected religious scholars and tribal elders to continue playing an active role in preventing tribal conflicts, noting that such disputes remain the biggest obstacle to the province’s development and progress.
