Pakistan Under-19 Defeat Zimbabwe to Win Tri-Nation Series

*Islamabad:* Pakistan Under-19 cricket team clinched the Tri-Nation Series title after defeating Zimbabwe by 9 wickets in the final played in Harare.

Chasing a target of 159 runs, Pakistan comfortably reached the total losing only one wicket. Opener Samir Minhas played a pivotal role in the victory with a sensational knock of 114 runs off just 51 balls, showcasing outstanding batting skills.

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, congratulated the national Under-19 team on their impressive achievement. In his message, he extended heartfelt congratulations to the team for winning the Tri-Series in Zimbabwe and praised Samir Minhas for his remarkable batting performance.

Mohsin Naqvi also lauded the leadership of captain Farhan Yousaf, along with the collective efforts of the players and coaching staff, terming their performance commendable.

He concluded by encouraging the young players, saying, “Well done, Shaheens. Keep up the winning momentum as you move towards the Under-19 World Cup.”
