Hazara Democratic Party Backs Employee Strike on December 30-31, Urges Government to Accept Demands

Quetta – The Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) has expressed full support for the upcoming employee strike on December 30 and 31, organized by the Grand Alliance of government employees in Balochistan, urging the provincial government to immediately accept their legitimate demands, including the implementation of the Dearness Relief Allowance (DRA).
In an official statement, HDP highlighted that Balochistan’s government employees are already performing their duties with dedication and honesty despite receiving lower salaries and fewer benefits compared to other provinces, while facing higher inflation and living costs. The party emphasized that the government should not force employees to resort to protests and strikes to secure their rights.
HDP called for immediate approval of all legitimate demands to ensure fairness and prevent further unrest, while reiterating its complete support for the Grand Alliance’s ongoing efforts to safeguard employees’ rights.
