JUI Balochistan Presents Itself as the Only Solution for the Province’s Chronic Issues, Says Maulana Abdul Wasi

Quetta – Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan, Senator Maulana Abdul Wasi, has stated that the only genuine political force representing all communities, regions, and groups across Balochistan is JUI. Addressing the province’s ongoing issues, he criticized artificial, newly formed parties and temporary political figures for pushing Balochistan into political instability, uncertainty, and unrest.

Maulana Abdul Wasi emphasized that the long-standing problems of the province can only be resolved by JUI, as the party is grounded in ideology, integrity, public trust, and a history of selfless struggle. He further noted that the political actors previously used against JUI leaders eventually withdrew from the political scene, proving that ideology and public service endure while opportunistic elements fade away.

He criticized the current provincial government for failing to meet public expectations during its term, arguing that despite Balochistan’s abundant natural resources, the province continues to suffer deprivation, mismanagement, and lack of development. He highlighted the absence of basic facilities, employment opportunities, education, healthcare, and security, blaming the ruling class for prioritizing personal gains and temporary political compromises over the welfare of the people.

Maulana Abdul Wasi reiterated that JUI has consistently faced political engineering, retaliatory actions, and undemocratic measures, yet has remained committed to democratic, tribal, and social values. He urged the government to recognize JUI’s responsible and principled role, emphasizing that the party remains the strongest advocate for the rights and welfare of Balochistan’s citizens.
