Mir Sarfaraz Bugti Elected 8th Chief of Bugti Tribe, Ceremonial Turbaning Held

Dera Bugti/Sui : In a historic tribal jirga held in Bakr Sui, Dera Bugti, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti has been elected as the 8th chief of the Bugti tribe.

During the central ceremony, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti was formally turbaned as the tribe’s new chief. The turbaning was conducted by the grandchildren of Nawab Akbar Bugti, along with prominent tribal elders, chiefs, and respected leaders from various branches of the Bugti tribe.

The historic event saw participation from Baloch tribal leaders, members of the provincial assemblies, and ministers from both Balochistan and Punjab, reflecting the significance of the occasion.
