KP Chief Minister Calls for Civilized Political Criticism, Punjab Information Minister Hits Back

Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohaib Afridi, has said that wherever Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is at fault, it should be criticized within moral and ethical boundaries.

Talking to journalists in Lahore, Sohaib Afridi stated that, like PTI, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and other political parties should also be criticized in a civilized and respectful manner. He said that everyone should raise their voice against what the government is doing to PTI and stand by truth and justice.

Meanwhile, Punjab’s Information Minister Azma Bukhari strongly criticized Chief Minister Sohaib Afridi, saying that he had spent enough time touring “Pakistan’s Europe, Lahore,” and should now return and address the problems of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She added that he should listen to the grievances of his own province.

Azma Bukhari further remarked that since last night, PTI supporters were celebrating by sharing images of Bangladesh, but in daylight the reality of the so-called street movement was exposed, as there was no one left to respond even to slogans raised by street protesters.
