Man Arrested in Lahore After CCTV Footage Shows Him Harassing Women on Streets
Lahore: Police in Lahore have arrested a man accused of sexually harassing women in local streets and neighborhoods after CCTV footage of his inappropriate behavior surfaced.
According to private news channel Express News, the footage showed the suspect engaging in indecent acts with women passing through narrow streets and alleys. The disturbing video led to immediate action by law enforcement.
Officers from Millat Park Police Station arrested the suspect, a resident of Walton Road, from the Niazi Adda area. An FIR has been registered against him.
According to SHO Sohail Liaqat Gondal, the man had previously been involved in similar incidents in the same locality. SP Iqbal Town Division, Dr. Muhammad Umar, stated that a strong charge sheet would be prepared to ensure the accused faces strict legal consequences.
