Quaid-e-Azam Envisioned Pakistan on the Principles of the State of Madinah, Solutions to Today’s Challenges Lie in His Vision: Shafiq ur Rehman Mengal

**Quetta:** Chairman of the Jhalawan Awami Panel and leader of Balochistan, Mir Shafiq ur Rehman Mengal, in his message on Quaid-e-Azam Day, said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was not merely a political leader but a great ideological and intellectual visionary who dreamed of establishing Pakistan on the principles of an Islamic welfare state inspired by the State of Madinah, and struggled for it through constitutional, democratic, and practical means.

He said that Quaid-e-Azam’s concept of Pakistan was deeply rooted in the golden model of the State of Madinah, where justice, equality, religious tolerance, protection of minority rights, and the rule of law formed the foundation of governance. Quaid-e-Azam wanted Pakistan to be a welfare state where the weak are protected, the oppressed receive justice, and every citizen enjoys dignity and respect.

Mir Shafiq ur Rehman Mengal stated that Quaid-e-Azam devoted his entire life to the freedom of the Muslims of the Subcontinent, sacrificing personal comfort and laying the foundation of a system based on Islamic values, democratic traditions, and constitutional principles. His struggle, he added, conveys the message that the true strength of a state lies in justice, integrity, and public trust.

He further said that the political, economic, and social challenges faced by Pakistan today can be effectively addressed by adhering to Quaid-e-Azam’s ideological vision and the welfare principles of the State of Madinah. He emphasized that Quaid-e-Azam’s philosophy should not be confined to speeches and slogans but implemented through practical policies, governance, and public service.

Concluding his message, Mir Shafiq ur Rehman Mengal said that Quaid-e-Azam Day provides an opportunity to renew the pledge to fulfill collective responsibilities and work together to build Pakistan into a just, sovereign, and dignified country in line with Quaid-e-Azam’s vision, the concept of an Islamic welfare state, and the principles of the State of Madinah.
