Restoring Peace in Ziarat Top Priority; Special Security Measures for Quaid-e-Azam Residency, Says IG Balochistan

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):** Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, stated that the police are diligently working to restore law and order in Ziarat and its surrounding areas. Special security measures have been implemented to safeguard Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s residency, and all available resources are being deployed to enhance police efficiency.

IG Muhammad Tahir made these remarks during a one-day visit to Ziarat while addressing a Police Darbar. Deputy Inspector General of Police Sibi Range, Barkat Ali Khosa, and Superintendent of Police Ziarat, Ayaz Khan, were also present. Upon arrival, the IG was saluted by a well-prepared contingent of Ziarat district police. He also laid flowers at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offered prayers for the departed souls.

During the Police Darbar, the IG listened to the concerns of Ziarat district police officers and staff and issued on-the-spot instructions to address their issues. He emphasized that Ziarat is a peaceful and scenic tourist destination attracting visitors from across Balochistan and other provinces. The police are committed to maintaining law and order to ensure the safety of citizens while paying special attention to the security of the Quaid-e-Azam Residency.

IG Muhammad Tahir further assured that the concerns of Ziarat police officers will be addressed on a priority basis to maintain peace in the area. He also inspected the Ziarat Police Station and reviewed the available resources to ensure operational efficiency.
