Balochistan Interior Minister Emphasizes Dialogue Over Protests to Resolve Issues

Quetta (Daily Qudrat): A government-led meeting on the Karizāt issue was held under the chairmanship of Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Zia Langove, bringing together tribal elders and the official committee to discuss matters concerning Karizāt and the headquarters.

The meeting was attended by Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakak, provincial assembly members Zamrak Khan Achakzai and Asghar Khan Tarin, Commissioner Quetta Division Shahzaib Khan Kakak, Additional Commissioner Agha Samiullah, Deputy Commissioner Pishin, Tehsildars, and other respected tribal elders.

During the discussions, elders presented various proposals and recommendations for resolving the Karizāt issue. The government committee welcomed the suggestions and requested that all proposals be submitted in writing for formal consideration by higher authorities.

Minister Langove emphasized that the matter of Karizāt, its restoration, and the creation of a new district would be taken seriously, urging all parties to reach a practical solution through mutual consultation and consensus. He added that the government is taking all possible steps to address the issue and will proceed with the confidence of all stakeholders.

He further stressed that protests do not resolve problems, and that understanding and dialogue remain the only effective means to settle disputes. All submitted recommendations will be forwarded to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for approval and implementation.
