Jamaat-e-Islami Urges Students to Embrace Peaceful Struggle, Calls for Improved Local Education

**Quetta:** Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and member of the Provincial Assembly, has called on the student community to adopt peaceful struggle against oppression, tyranny, and lawlessness, rather than resorting to violence. He made these remarks while addressing the 79th Foundation Day of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba at Science College Hall.

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman highlighted the dire state of local educational institutions in Balochistan, noting that children of wealthy landlords, tribal chiefs, and establishment figures often study abroad, while local schools and colleges remain deprived of basic facilities. He praised Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba for nurturing capable, principled, and morally upright youth, free from drugs and misconduct, who also uphold tribal traditions, honor, and integrity.

He further emphasized that educational institutions with active Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba presence provide a superior religious and academic environment, ensuring the protection and respect of female students.

The event featured addresses by Abdul Quddoos Kakr, President of Balochistan Professors & Lecturers Association; Dr. Lal Khan Kakr of Baz Foundation; Murtaza Khan Kakr, Provincial General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami; Professor Syed Amanullah Shadizai; and Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba leaders including Akhundzada Ata-ur-Rehman, Ahmed Shah Ghazi, and Sikandar Ali.

Speakers lauded the 79-year legacy of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba in providing educational, ethical, and leadership guidance to students. They urged students to combine religious values with modern knowledge and dedicate themselves to serving the nation through constructive and positive activities.
