PTI Heading Toward Street Movement, Resistance Is the Only Option: KP CM’s Aide Shafi Jan

Islamabad:Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shafi Jan, has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is moving toward a street movement, adding that resistance is now the only remaining option.
Speaking on the program *Aaj Shahzaib Khanzada Kay Saath*, Shafi Jan said that this time the party will come out with full preparation and launch a “next-level” protest movement. He announced that a wheel-jam and shutter-down strike has been decided for February 8, while preparations for a full-scale street movement are underway.
He said that the responsibility of the movement has been assigned to Mahmood Khan Achakzai, and whenever the call for protests is given, millions of people will take to the streets.
Shafi Jan maintained that negotiations are possible only under two conditions: either fresh elections are held or PTI’s mandate is restored. However, he added that if the federal government is willing to talk about the release of party leadership and workers and the withdrawal of what he termed false cases, PTI is also ready for dialogue.
He further claimed that PTI is not being allowed to carry out any political activities in Sindh, Punjab, or Balochistan.
