Romanian Ambassador Pleasantly Surprised to See National Flag at Petrol Pump in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Romania’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Dan Stoenescu, was pleasantly surprised during his visit to Gujranwala after spotting the Romanian and European Union flags flying at a local petrol pump.

Upon arriving in the Punjab city, the ambassador expressed his delight at the unexpected sight, calling it a heartwarming moment.

Sharing his feelings in a post on social media platform X, Ambassador Stoenescu said that seeing the Romanian and EU flags displayed at a petrol station in Gujranwala was truly a pleasant surprise.

He further stated that relations between Romania and Pakistan are built on shared experiences, mutual respect, and a long-term commitment to growth and opportunities for both countries.
