Charges Framed Against Falak Javed and Others in Fake Video Case Linked to Azma Bukhari

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** In the case concerning a fake video allegedly linked to Punjab Information Minister **Azma Bukhari**, the court has **framed charges** against **Falak Javed** and other accused individuals.
The case was registered by the **National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCIA)**, which alleged that the defendants had circulated a fabricated video on social media purportedly featuring Azma Bukhari.
During the hearing, **Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wato** ordered that witnesses be summoned for the next session and **adjourned the proceedings** for further investigation.
NCIA’s investigations revealed that the video in question was **fake**, created to **mislead the public and defame the reputation** of Azma Bukhari.
### Case Background
In **July 2024**, inappropriate videos and screenshots attributed to Azma Bukhari were shared on social media platforms including **X, Instagram, and Facebook**. Verification by **Pak iVerify** confirmed that the video had been manipulated, placing the minister’s face onto the content.
A formal complaint was filed seeking legal action against **Falak Javed**, a PTI worker, and others involved. The petition stated that the video was widely shared by hundreds of people, causing **reputational damage** to the minister.
The court was requested to direct the **FIA to submit an investigative report** and take legal action against the accused for circulating the fake content.
