Balochistan CM Sarfaraz Bugti Vows to Eradicate Terrorism, Affirms State Authority
*Quetta (Daily Qudrat):* Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has strongly condemned the recent wave of terrorism in the province, stating that the attacks aim to derail the region’s development, but enemies of the state will never succeed in their malicious designs.
Speaking to media representatives in Quetta, CM Bugti assured that those involved in the Panjgur and other attacks will not escape justice, and the blood of martyrs will not go in vain. “We will pursue terrorists to their dens and respond decisively to any threat against the state,” he said, emphasizing that anyone challenging the writ of the state will be dealt with firmly.
He added, “We are peace-loving people and believe in dialogue, but there is no forgiveness for those who take up arms to target innocent citizens and security forces.”
Responding to questions about rumors of a government change or in-house reshuffles, CM Bugti dismissed them outright with a smile, stating, “Every other day predictions are made about my government’s fall, but we are here to serve the people and will complete our constitutional term. Conspirators will find nothing but disappointment.”
The Chief Minister also reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to providing employment and educational opportunities for the youth. Addressing discontented Baloch youth, he urged them to return from the mountains and contribute to the province’s development, assuring that the state is ready to welcome them back.
