PKMAP Urges Workers to Intensify Efforts for Local Government Election Success to Address Public Issues

**Quetta:** The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) has called on its workers to launch vigorous campaigns for success in the upcoming local government elections, emphasizing that victory is essential for resolving public issues at the grassroots level. Party leaders urged members to reach every household, work day and night, and ensure the success of nominated candidates.

Speaking at the inauguration of election offices, public gatherings, and regional conferences, PKMAP provincial General Secretary Kabir Afghan, Deputy Secretaries Sardar Idrees Barch and Nizam Askar, district assistants, and other leaders stressed that practical efforts, not mere slogans, are needed to address long-standing public problems effectively.

During the meetings, leaders highlighted challenges in Quetta, including the enforcement of Section 144 and a climate of fear. They criticized the manipulation of public funds by officials who, instead of solving citizens’ issues, are reportedly engaged in unnecessary reconstruction of roads and sewage systems to favor their candidates.

The party leaders emphasized that despite more than a year and a half passing, no substantial steps have been taken to resolve public issues, while corruption and misuse of public funds continue.

PKMAP urged the public to vote for the party’s nominated candidates on December 28 and mark their choice with the party symbol, a tree, to ensure the election of genuine representatives committed to serving the people.
