Gas Shortage in Quetta Leaves Residents Shivering as Sui Southern Load-Shedding Continues

**Quetta (Qudrat News)** – With the onset of winter, a severe gas shortage in **Quetta** has left residents struggling to cook meals, access hot water, and keep their homes warm. Many areas, including **Kali Darani, Shaldara, Madarsa Road, Faqir Muhammad Road, Kowari Road, Nawan Kali, Khurotabad, Samungli Road, Saryab Road, Jinnah Town, Hazara Town, and Satellite Town**, are facing complete gas outages, prompting widespread protests.
Citizens accuse the **Sui Southern Gas Company** of annually using low-pressure as an excuse for supply disruptions, while residents continue to pay high bills without receiving gas. Elderly and children are enduring harsh cold conditions as government authorities and relevant departments remain largely unresponsive.
Public and political circles have urged the **Prime Minister, Governor, and Chief Minister of Balochistan** to take immediate action to restore gas supply, warning that failure to address the issue could escalate protests across the province.
