PTI Condemns Police Crackdown Outside Adiala Jail; Sisters of Imran Khan Targeted, MNA Shahid Khattak Injured

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly condemned what it termed a “brutal and unlawful police assault” on Imran Khan’s sisters, women workers, and party leaders outside Adiala Jail on Wednesday night.
According to the PTI spokesperson, Aliema Khan, Uzma Khan, and Noreen Niazi were peacefully present outside the jail to meet Imran Khan in accordance with court orders when police launched an aggressive operation in the dark of night and harsh cold weather. The party said police used water cannons and baton charges, causing Imran Khan’s sisters and several other women to fall to the ground.
MNA Shahid Khattak was reportedly injured along with several workers during the confrontation.
PTI stated that the incident reflects the government’s “fascist mindset and rising fear,” accusing the authorities of abandoning all moral and human values. The party added that state repression and violence will not deter its leadership or workers, vowing to continue their struggle with even greater determination.
