Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — A man in India was fined for wearing a helmet while driving a car, an unusual incident that has quickly gone viral on social media.
According to Indian media, the incident occurred in Agra, where school teacher Gulshan was issued a fine of 1,100 Indian Rupees for wearing a helmet despite using a seat belt in his car.
Speaking to the media, Gulshan said the incident happened on November 26 and he received the fine due to what he described as an “unusual police action.” Following the incident, he has begun wearing a helmet every time he drives to avoid further fines.
The peculiar case has amused and surprised social media users, and police authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the fine or the incident.
