Slight Increase in Cement Retail Prices Across Pakistan

Islamabad (Daily Qudrat): Retail prices of **cement in Pakistan** recorded a slight increase last week, according to the **Pakistan Bureau of Statistics**.
For the week ending **December 4**, the **average price per bag in northern cities** was **Rs. 1,379**, up **0.39%** from the previous week’s **Rs. 1,374**. In southern cities, the **average price rose slightly to Rs. 1,441** per bag, compared to **Rs. 1,440** the previous week, an increase of **0.06%**.
City-wise details for northern Pakistan include: **Islamabad Rs. 1,367**, **Rawalpindi Rs. 1,361**, **Gujranwala Rs. 1,400**, **Sialkot Rs. 1,370**, **Lahore Rs. 1,466**, **Faisalabad Rs. 1,370**, **Sargodha Rs. 1,373**, **Multan Rs. 1,397**, **Bahawalpur Rs. 1,400**, **Peshawar Rs. 1,370**, and **Bannu Rs. 1,300**.
In southern cities, prices were: **Karachi Rs. 1,378**, **Hyderabad Rs. 1,428**, **Sukkur Rs. 1,500**, **Larkana Rs. 1,407**, **Quetta Rs. 1,490**, and **Khuzdar Rs. 1,443** per bag.
The increase reflects a marginal upward trend in cement prices across both northern and southern regions.
