PTI Holds Power Show in Peshawar, Announces Next Rally in Kohat on Sunday

**Peshawar (Qudrat Daily)** – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) showcased a strong political power show at the Hayatabad Sports Complex, where a large number of workers and supporters participated. The party also announced that its next rally will be held in **Kohat next Sunday**.

Addressing the gathering, **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi** rejected claims of poor governance in the province. He said that if governance was lacking, PTI would not have formed the government for a third consecutive term.
He criticized the federal policies, saying:
“Operations over operations, drones over drones—your policies are failing. If your strategy isn’t working, change it. What is our fault? The Pakistani nation stands with Imran Khan, and our struggle continues under the shadow of the national flag.”

Afridi announced **a development package of Rs. 100 billion for Peshawar**, including a 100-bed hospital and multiple underpasses. He added that Peshawar has consistently voted for PTI from 2013 to 2024 and that the respect he receives is because of the party’s founding chairman.

Speaking at the event, **Mehmood Khan Achakzai**, head of the Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aeen Pakistan, said the struggle between “truth and falsehood” has reached its final stage.
He argued that those who violate the Constitution are a security risk and demanded a **national conference** involving judges, generals, scholars, and politicians to “forgive each other and save the country.”
“Afghans are our brothers; we are a chain. Pakistan must be a place where we live freely with the supremacy of law and the Constitution,” he added.

Former National Assembly Speaker and PTI central leader **Asad Qaiser** claimed the rally proved once again that Peshawar remains a stronghold of Imran Khan.
He accused powerful quarters of depriving citizens of their right to vote and imposing a government with only 17 seats.
“Nawaz Sharif lost to an elderly woman, Yasmin Rashid, yet today the 17-seat group is legislating for the country. The Pakistani nation will not accept this constitutional violation,” he stated.

Other leaders from PTI and Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aeen Pakistan also addressed the crowd.
Strict security arrangements were made on routes leading to Hayatabad, while workers from Peshawar and other districts attended the rally in large numbers.
