Punjab Minister Azma Bukhari Accuses PTI Founder of Seeking Support from India and Afghanistan

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture, **Azma Zahid Bukhari**, has accused the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of pursuing a “country-damaging agenda” and seeking support from foreign actors, including India and Afghanistan, to gain political power.

Speaking to the media, Bukhari said the **Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) spokesperson** had exposed what she called the “anti-state agenda” of PTI’s founder, whom she described as mentally unstable.

“By aligning with Indian media and promoting narratives against Pakistan, the founder of PTI has shown his true colors. This mentally and morally paralyzed individual is even seeking support from the Taliban and India, the killers of our children, to attain power,” she claimed.

She further stated that any baseless criticisms of the military leadership reflect the founder’s “mental and ethical paralysis” and warned that individuals working against Pakistan pose a clear threat to the state’s stability.

Bukhari emphasized that attacks on state institutions, disrespect for martyrs, and narratives against the armed forces represent the **enemy’s agenda**, which she said the nation has successfully resisted. “Every narrative, conspiracy, and actor against Pakistan’s security will fail in the face of the state’s iron resolve,” she added.

Her remarks reflect the continued political polarization in the country and heightened tensions between the ruling authorities and PTI leadership.
