PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Condemns Name-Calling Between Institutions and Political Leadership

**Islamabad:** Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman **Barrister Gohar** expressed disappointment over the recent DG ISPR press conference, calling it “disheartening” and emphasizing the need for improved relations between political leadership and state institutions.

Speaking on the press briefing, Barrister Gohar said:

> “I had always hoped that tensions would ease and relations would improve. The country’s defense is important, and PTI’s narrative has never been anti-national and will never be.”

He criticized the practice of calling each other “mentally ill,” stating that such behavior from both institutions and political leadership is **regrettable**.

Barrister Gohar stressed that:

> “Pakistan belongs to all of us, and the army is ours too. At this time, everyone needs to respect each other and work to restore trust collectively.”

He appealed to **democracy-supporting forces** to help reduce tensions and warned that non-stakeholders should not contribute to the conflict between PTI and state institutions.

The PTI chairman also demanded that **founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi be allowed meetings**, noting that allowing such interactions could improve the situation. He cautioned that the country **cannot bear further tension and unrest**.
