Senator Faisal Vawda Predicts Disqualification of KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi

Islamabad — Senator Faisal Vawda has claimed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi will soon be disqualified. Responding to a question regarding the CM’s possible disqualification, Vawda asserted that *“Sohail Afridi will be disqualified very soon.”*
He further said that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continues to create instability in politics, it should be ready for the imposition of Governor’s Rule. According to Vawda, “lists are ready,” and those sitting abroad and issuing statements will also soon “realize what is coming their way.”
The senator also alleged that PTI leaders themselves are responsible for Imran Khan’s current situation, stating that *“It is PTI’s own politicians who have brought Imran Khan to this point.”*
Vawda additionally claimed that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi would **not** meet PTI founder Imran Khan today.
Meanwhile, PTI Secretary-General Salman Akram Raja said that preventing a meeting with the party founder would be “unconstitutional.” He added that while such an act would not be surprising, it would certainly be regrettable.
