Balochistan Government Vows Zero Tolerance Against Crime and Smuggling, 100 Terrorists Neutralized in Northern Areas: CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) – Balochistan Chief Minister **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** chaired a high-level meeting of the **Provincial “Hard on the State” Committee** at the Chief Minister Secretariat on Wednesday to review the province’s security situation, ongoing operations, and progress of national and provincial action plans.
The meeting, attended by Chief Secretary Shakil Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Interior Hamza Shafqat, and senior security officials, highlighted **coordinated operations against extremist groups** “Fitna al-Khawarij” and “Fitna al-Hindustan.” Officials reported that **100 terrorists have been neutralized in northern Balochistan**, over 200 operations were conducted in Kachhi district, and successful actions against criminal elements continue across other districts.
Additionally, **3,561 illegal petrol pumps have been sealed**, customs authorities conducted **2,575 operations in the last three months**, and **416 non-custom-paid vehicles were seized**. Registration and regulatory compliance of madrassas are also being strictly enforced.
CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed satisfaction with the ongoing security operations and stressed that **state writ will be maintained at all costs**. He directed authorities to accelerate operations without any leniency and emphasized strict implementation of national and provincial action committee decisions.
“The government’s top priority is to take decisive and impartial action against lawbreakers. A zero-tolerance policy against crime, lawlessness, and insecurity will be strictly enforced,” the CM stated. He further added that **the safety and security of every citizen is the state’s fundamental responsibility**, and the government will utilize all resources to ensure peace and sustained development in Balochistan.
