Adviser Rana Sanaullah Says Imran Khan Had Long Meeting With Family, Warns Against Political Discussion in Jail

Islamabad:Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah has said that the founder of PTI held an extended meeting with his wife and sister today, emphasizing that while such meetings are their legal right, political discussions inside jail are not permitted.
Speaking to the media, Rana Sanaullah stated that Imran Khan first met his wife Bushra Bibi, followed by a one-hour meeting with his sister Azma Khan and Bushra Bibi together. He added that Imran Khan is “completely healthy.”
He noted that under Jail Rules 265, political matters cannot be discussed during jail meetings. “Meeting with family and lawyers is your right, but you cannot engage in politics,” he said. He added that the jail superintendent had informed Azma Khan beforehand that she must not hold a press conference after the meeting.
Rana Sanaullah said that if these rules continue to be respected, there would be no obstacles to future meetings with Imran Khan.
Earlier, after meeting Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, Azma Khan told reporters that her brother’s health was fine. She also said that Imran Khan was angry and complained that he was being kept in solitary confinement without any communication.
