Justice Kamranullah Malikhel Appointed as New Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court
Quetta (Daily Qudrat) — The Judicial Commission of Pakistan has approved the appointment of Justice Kamranullah Malikhel as the new Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court.
The meeting, chaired by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, was attended by Supreme Court judges Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan, Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Hasan Rizvi, and Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court Aamer Farooq.
During the session, three senior judges — Justice Kamranullah Malikhel, Justice Iqbal Ahmed Kasi, and Justice Shaukat Ali Darakhsani — were considered for the position. Following deliberations, the commission unanimously approved Justice Malikhel’s name.
The decision has been forwarded to the Ministry of Law for submission to the President of Pakistan for final approval.
