Pashtun Homeland is in Chains of the Powerful; Bacha Khan’s Philosophy is the Only Path to Freedom,” Says Asghar Khan Achakzai

*Quetta (Qudrat News)* — The **Provincial President of the Awami National Party (ANP)**, **Asghar Khan Achakzai**, has said that only a *strong and well-organized movement* can help resolve the grave national crises faced by the Pashtun people. He declared that the **Pashtun homeland remains imprisoned by powerful forces pursuing their vested interests**, and that *Bacha Khan’s ideology* continues to be the only guiding light toward equality, justice, and national rights.
Speaking during a meeting at **Arbab House Quetta** with **Musa Khel district organizers Khan Mir Lala, Deputy Organizer Nematullah, and member Jalat Khan Essot**, Achakzai was accompanied by **Provincial General Secretary Mabat Kakar, Central Additional Secretary General Ubaidullah Abid, Provincial Vice President Jamaluddin Rishtiya, Provincial Spokesperson Wali Dad Miyani**, and **District Quetta President Sanaullah Kakar**.
Achakzai said that the **ANP’s history is written in sacrifices**, from the party’s senior leaders to its grassroots workers, all of whom have devoted their lives, time, and resources to the struggle for the **fundamental rights of the Pashtun nation and all oppressed people of the region**.
He emphasized that the **current political, economic, and social crises** have placed the Pashtun community under severe strain, making the responsibilities of ANP workers even greater than before. “Party members must intensify their efforts and spread the message of **Bacha Khan and Wali Khan’s teachings** to every household,” he urged.
The provincial president reiterated that the **Awami National Party has always stood for democracy, provincial autonomy, human rights, and the establishment of a progressive society**, a struggle not limited to one group or generation but for the betterment of all humanity.
He stressed the need for strict adherence to **organizational discipline, unity, and ideological consistency**, calling these the key elements in **strengthening the party and maintaining public trust**.
The meeting also discussed **organizational matters, future plans**, and strategies to **strengthen the party structure in Musa Khel district**. The district organizing committee was directed to **complete new membership registration within one month** to ensure the **formation of a fully functional district setup**.
