Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman Baloch Pledges to Fight Injustice in Balochistan Through ‘Haq Do’ Campaign

**Quetta:** Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman Baloch, MPA and leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan, has criticized the exploitation of Balochistan’s resources and the marginalization of its people, stating that those in power are depriving the public of their votes and trust while worsening local issues.

Speaking at events and meetings in Gwadar, he said the party is actively working within and outside the assembly through the ‘Haq Do Balochistan’ campaign to confront oppression, lawlessness, insecurity, corruption, border closures, enforced disappearances, and denial of basic rights.

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman highlighted that the people of Gwadar face serious issues including lack of clean drinking water, electricity, gas, education, and healthcare. He also pointed to challenges such as harassment at check posts and borders, exploitation by the trawler mafia on coasts, and deprivation from benefits of projects like CPEC, Sindh Coal, and Reko Diq.

He assured that the party and campaign will work to address the grievances of fishermen, voters, and local communities, promising that the public will soon see positive changes.

In a related development, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman Baloch and Haji Nasir Plezai, Vice Chairman of the Haq Do Balochistan campaign, held a key meeting in Gwadar to discuss strengthening and activating the campaign. Both leaders reviewed organizational matters and planned steps to make the people’s movement more effective and impactful.
