Major Irregularities Reported in Balochistan Technical Board Exams — Present Students Marked Absent and Declared Failed

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat)** — Serious administrative irregularities have been reported during the **Balochistan Board of Technical Education examinations** held at **Government Polytechnic College Quetta**, where **hundreds of students** were **wrongly marked absent and declared failed** in subjects they had actually appeared for.
According to students, after the **announcement of results**, they were shocked to find **“absent”** marked against several subjects in their **mark sheets**, despite having **attended the exams, signed the attendance sheets, and submitted their answer papers**.
Sources revealed that when the affected students contacted the **college administration and the Balochistan Technical Board**, they were informed that the **board’s records did not show them as present** in those exams. The students strongly protested, alleging that the incident was **not mere negligence but part of an organized malpractice**, aimed at forcing students to **reappear and pay exam fees again.**
The affected students have submitted **written complaints** to the **Technical Branch of the Balochistan Board**, while reliable sources confirmed that the **board has admitted to an internal error** and has **formed an inquiry committee** to investigate the matter.
The students have urged the **Chief Minister of Balochistan**, **Minister for Education**, and **Secretary of Education** to take **immediate notice** of the issue. They demanded that **attendance sheets and exam papers be rechecked** to expose the truth and ensure **accountability of the responsible officials**.
They warned that if the issue is **not resolved transparently**, they would be compelled to launch **protests and pursue legal action.**
